🩵 How do we ensure that ENDORISK truly aligns with the needs of our healthcare?
During our second ENDORISK Live meeting in early March, we discussed this with the people who can best tell us what works: patients and healthcare professionals.
We started the afternoon with a session with patient representatives. We put the question to them about how to find the right balance between providing information and involvement in treatment decisions. How much information do patients really want? And in what way? Their insights were enormously valuable, because we as researchers and/or doctors simply cannot answer this ourselves. We are grateful for their openness and will incorporate their feedback into the further development of ENDORISK.
Afterwards, gynecologists, (research) nurses, and other stakeholders from the ENDORISK studies joined to share initial experiences within the ENDORISK-I study. The ENDORISK team was pleased to hear that the first users have a positive view of ENDORISK. There have been minor challenges, such as starting up this study. It was instructive that the hospitals were able to share their solutions for these challenges with others.
A day full of new insights and enthusiasm!
Thank you to all participating healthcare professionals and patient representatives!
